The PaintGage FNF Paint Thickness Meter & Coating Thickness Gauge measures thickness of coatings on ALL Metals. It measures both non-magnetic coatings on steel and non-conductive coatings on aluminum, copper, zinc, brass, etc. The PaintGage FNF Paint Gauge (Gage) is an ideal instrument for non-destructive measurement of non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous substrates. The PaintGage FNF probe is also designed for high resolution measurement of anodized coatings on aluminum. Device automatically recognizes the substrate and takes an accurate measurement.

 

Testing performance is both non-destructive and extremely accurate.

 

PaintGage FNF Coating Thickness Gauge offers a large High Contrast 2 Line Flip LCD Display and automatically stores last 10 measurements in a it's memory (take up to 10 measurements and then compare all the results).

<p></p>Very precise and a surprisingly small Paint Meter, easily fits in a pocket. Extremely accurate and comfortable in use. I own one PosiTest DFT Combo from DeFelsko and I like it for it's Large LCD screen and a compact size, but now PaintGage FNF seems like a good alternative, same and even more features for less. Works great! Thank you!

<p></p>For the past 5 years I've been using Elcometer 311 paint gauge without realizing that there are other paint thickness meters on the market like PaintGage FNF, that half the size and half the price. I like my new PaintGage FNF gage more than Elcometer because it is much smaller and lighter, has a large Flip LCD display and shows actual coating thickness measurements instead of rounding them to nearest 0.5 like Elcometer. Thank you!
