It measures both non-magnetic coatings on steel and non-conductive coatings on aluminum, copper, zinc, brass, etc. The PaintGage FNF Paint Gauge (Gage) is an ideal instrument for non-destructive measurement of non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous substrates. The PaintGage FNF probe is also designed for high resolution measurement of anodized coatings on aluminum. Device automatically recognizes the substrate and takes an accurate measurement.
